Renszeres "zold"-ellenes hozaszolasaitokat olvasva most mar nem allom 
meg, hogy kronikus idohianyom ellenere is megprobaljak tisztazni egy 
felreertest.  Rendszeresen vadoljatok a "zoldeket" kulonbozo, a helyi 
kornyezetet nyilvanvaloan plusz kockazattal vagy kibocsajtassal 
terhelo letesitmenyek megakadalyozasaval.

Ugyanakkor, ezeket a fajta hozzaszolasokat szomoruan szoktam olvasni 
-- szomoru, hogy meg mindig nem ertjuk, mi a demokracia.   Ha 
valaki portajanak a hataraba akarnak egy veszelyes uzemu, vagy 
szennyezessel jaro valamit telepiteni, akkor az a legtermeszetesebb 
dolog, hogy a valaki ez ellen tiltakozni fog, es ettol ez meg nem 
"zold"seg, hanem a demokratikus tarsadalom legtermeszetesebb 
alapeleme.  Ha nincsenek egy tarsadalomban mechanizmusok, es 
szervezetek, akik az ilyen panaszokat es siramokat kepviselik, az 
egy technokrata-elit altal diktalt tarsadalmat eredmenyezhet.

Termeszetesen a NIMBY (not in my backyard) problemanak is van 
megoldasa egy demokratikus rendszerben: a megnovekedo kockazatot vagy 
szennyezes-kibocsajtast kompenzalni kell egyeb szolgaltatasokkal, 
kedvezmenyekkel.  Amennyiben tobb lehetseges kijelolt hely is van, a 
helyi kozossegekkel valo "verseny"targyalasok vegulis ki fogjak 
alakitani azt az egyensulyt, hogy a vegul a kockazatot/szennyezest 
felvallalo telepules megkapja a kara ellenerteket, vagy annal kicsit 
tobbet, hogy neki is megerje.  

Feri, persze lehet, hogy amirol irtal, abban masrol volt szo, ez nem 
volt vilagos, ebben az esetben szolj hozza, kivancsi vagyok.  En 
mindnekeppen ugy gondolom, hogy egy demokratikus tarsadalomban a zold 
mozgalmaknak igen fontos szerepuk van, meg akkor is, ha neha
szakmailag esetleg nincs igazuk, vagy idonkent valoban haragoszold 
tulkapasokrol van szo.  Szerintem egy jol mukodo tarsadalomnak 
egy-ket (persze csak bekes) szelsosegre is szuksege van, meg akar 
torgyanokra is (bar ez mar politika), hogy a megfelelo 
konroll-mechanizmusok szerepet ellassak.  Es sokszor ugy erzem, hogy 
a pl. KORNYESZ-olvaso muszaki elitben is dominalo heves 
zold-ellenesseg tipikusan annak a jele, hogy nehezen fogadjuk el, 
hogy "elvesztettuk" a muszaki kerdesekben regen egyeduallo donteshozo 
szerepunket: az uj tarsadalmi rendben a kevesbe jol kepzett, de 
adofizeto es valaszto (es a dontes eredmenyeitol szenvedo) polgarnak 
ugyanugy szo jut a komplex muszaki dontesekben, mint a muszaki 
ertelmisegnek.

WHAT'S SO GREAT ABOUT BEING BIG?

"I think we need to find out why the citizens of the world's wealthiest, most
envied, most powerful country are so cynical, so distressed, so angry, so
ticked off about so many things."  (William J. Bennett, former Secretary of

That quote comes from a new book that says we are so ticked off because things
-- from cities to corporations to governments to schools to the whole economy
-- are too big.  We pursue quantity instead of quality, go for more and lose
sight of enough.  Our unthinking devotion to growth drive us to create economic
and social monsters that drive us, instead of serving us.

The book is "Downsizing the U.S.A." (Grand Rapids MI, William B. Erdmans
Publishing Company, 1977) by Thomas H. Naylor and William H. Willimon, who are
a former economics professor and chaplain, respectively, at Duke University. 
Naylor and Willimon lace their book with quotations from other folks that in
themselves make their points.

On too-muchness in general: "There seems only one cause behind all forms of
social misery: BIGNESS.  It appears to be  the one and only problem permeating
all creation.  Wherever something is wrong, something is too big."  (Leopold
Kohr, "The Breakdown of Nations")

"To the size of states there is a limit, as there is to other things, plants,
animals, implements; for none of these retain their natural power when they are
too large or too small, but they either wholly lose their nature or are

        Emberkent egyszerre, egy testben ketfelek vagyunk: biologiai ES

Mindegy, ezt az egeszet nem azert irtam, hogy vitat gerjesszek, hanem hogy

Most kezdhetunk szamolni.
Saccolok egy halvany csucsrajaratassal 15, anelkul 12 milliard Ft/ev 
hasznot. Ez 10%/ev profitrataval (energetikaban ilyen magas nincs is) 
meger egy 120-150 milliardos beruhazast. Ez persze tobb lesz, a 
tobbi a vizgazdalkodasban, a kozlekedesben stb. kell hogy hozza a 
hasznat. A haszon pedig nem csak az arbevetel, hanem az elmaradt 
kiadas is.
