Mielott barki is installalni akar egy FixPak-et, tisztaban kell lennie
azzal, hogy ezek a Fix-ek nem mennek at olyan szeles koru tesztelesen,
mint pl. az alap operacios rendszer. A FixPak-ek readme-jeben benne van,
hogy milyen problemakat old meg az adott csomag. Ha tehat nekem nincs
problemam, vagy olyan problemam van amire nincs segitseg az adott Fix-ben,
akkor nem installalom. 

Egyebkent nekem is hasonlo tapasztalatom volt az 5-os es a 10-es FixPak-kel.
Az 5-osnek rossz visszhangja volt a USENET-en, nekem megis jol mukodott. A
10-es sokkal jobb volt a velemenyek szerint, viszont nekem problemaim voltak a
telepites alatt, ket gepen is, de vegul megis sikerult. Egyebkent ha nem megy 
a backout, akkor elvileg kezzel is vissza tudod allitani a regi rendszeredet,
egyszeruen kitomoritve (unpack2.exe) es visszarakva az archive konyvtarban 
tarolt regi file-okat. Nem tul elegans, de ha minden kotel szakad ...

Ha mar igy elojott ez a tema, akkor itt jegyzem meg, hogy a 16-os (javitott)
FixPak rovidesen kint lesz (talan epp most toltik fel a boulder-ra) es az
allitasok szerint megjavitja a Single System Message Queue problemat.

Egy kicsit en is csodalkoztam, hogy kimaradt, de azert ha egy kicsi fogalmad
lenne a Team OS/2 mibenleterol, akkor tudnad, hogy egy Team OS/2-es az esetek
tobbsegeben (ertsd 95%-aban) NEM az IBM-nek dolgozik. Mint ahogy Amby sem.

Nem vagy egyedul a problemaddal . Nekem is van (volt ) ilyen bajom.
Nekem egy IDE vezerlos 420-as HDD akarta ugyanezt csinalni.
Valo igaz van rajta kb 2MB badsector . A szivas ugyanugy kezdodott mint neked.
486DLC alaplap AMI biossal rossz sectornal kiakadt. Elo a 286!!!-os alapdeszka
rajta az ezer eves BIOS (valami agyatlan) ami nem volt ilyen finnyas a badsec-r
ees kijelolve azt tovabb futott (illetve minden rossz sectort felirt aztan ujra
kellett kezdeni a lowformatot es mikor mar minden rosszat kijelolt akkor vegre
leformazta). Na most ez igy igaz volt IDE vezerlore ezt az ESDI-t ilyen 
megkozelitesbol nem ismerem.

Kulonben is furcsanak tartottam azt , hogy elidegenedo vilagunkban, amikor
az emberek arra mar oda sem figyelnek ha egy Mercedes allandoan villogva 
es visito riasztoval megy az utcan (lattam ilyet) es nem hivjak fel a 07-et
akkor pont az zavarja oket ha valaki mellettuk telefonal.
 Ha valaki ugy gondolja , hogy szuksege van a telefonra akkor SENKIT nem fog
megkerdezni arrol , hogy hasznalhatja-e ( meg a HIX tisztelt kozonseget sem)
Egyebkent ez egy uj dolog meg kell varni amig sajat magatol kiforr a 
kulturaja. Ehez sok osszteveonek kell vilagossa valni pl: a tarsadalom
mely retege hasznalja , mire , milyen surun.Ha olyan olcso lesz , hogy
mindenkinek lehet majd akkor egeszen mas kulturaja lesz mintha maradnanak a

Ha tudod mi az a Team OS/2, akkor tudod hogy az IBMnek dolgozom vagy sem.
Ha nem tudod, inkabb nezz utana.

(Mellesleg valoban volt az IBMnel munkam.:)
Talan az is feltunt, hogy elsos infos vagyok a BME-n.
Talan az sem kerulte el a figyelmedet, hogy igyekeztem egy szoval sem 
emliteni azt, hogy az OS/2 szerintem jobb. Nem azt akartam feltetlenul
raeroltetni masra, hogy en mit gondolok, hanem azt akartam elerni, hogy
valaki valaszoljon, kizarolag Win95 korben maradva. 
A Team OS/2 elveivel(?) pedig reszben ellentetes, amit en itt 
megprobaltam, azert nem is vallaltam az alairast. Ilyenkor ugyanis 
nem vallhatom magam "tagnak", es egyeseket csak zavart volna az OS/2 az 
alairasomban. 

A kerdes tovabbra is fent all. Tisztaban van egy atlagos Win95 
felhasznalo, hogy min csucsul? 
Tisztazzuk:
-Nem allitom most hogy az OS/2 jobb. Nem celom bizonyitani.
-Az a lenyeg, hogy szemellenzos, aki Win95-ot hasznal, vagy tud a 
hibakrol, es ennek ellenere hasznalja. Ha igen, vege. Csak tisztazni 
szeretnem. Ha valaki tudja, min csucsul, onnantol maganugy...nem?

A disk cache meretet attol fuggoen valtoztatja, hogy mennyi memoria 
kell az eppen futo programoknak. A szabadon maradt RAMot hasznalja 
cache-kent (mint a Linux). Hogy a min/max ertekeket be lehet-e 
allitani... passz. Egyebkent a virtualis memoria meretet is 
valtoztatja (hacsak nem rogzited), szuksegtelenul nem foglalja a 
megakat a wincsin. 
(CD cache: lefoglal a memoriaban egy teruletet a CD cache-nek, aztan 
ha nem hasznalod a CDt, kiswappelodik. A wincsi joval gyorsabb, mint 
a CD, azert van ertelme.)

Tudna nekem valaki kuldeni Windows-hoz olyan drivert ami lehetove teszi,

Javitsatok ki, ha tevedek, de ugy tudom, hogy a W95 a szabad memoriat automatik

Ket porblema megoldasaban kernem a joszivu GURU-sok segitseget:

1. VEGAS tipusu 386-os szamitogephez SETUP.EXE programot keresek.
   A gep belso setup-jat ez a program inditja el es ha ez hianyzik
   - a kedves gyartok hibajabol - az eredeti setup disk-rol akkor
   nem lehet setup-olni, pedig azt kell neha.
   
2. Tud valaki software-es megoldast a .MOD fileok .WAV formatumra 
   alakitasara? Ha igen legyszi ertesitsen!
   
   
   Kosz, legyetek jok es Coca-Cola!   

Legyszives, ne arra koncentraljatok, hogy OS/2-es vagyok.
Az alabbit meg tudja valaki erositeni?

   I've just discovered a huge security hole in Windows 95 that affects ALL
   32-bit virus scanning programs.

   The hole prevents A/V programs from accessing specially named files.

   To understand how it works, you have to know a little bit about
   how DOS works:

   In DOS, when a file is deleted, the first character in the file name is
   overwritten with ASCII character 229, and it is removed from the File
   Allocation Table (FAT). DOS does lets you use ASCII 229 as the first
   character of filenames and directories without any problems, though.

   With windows 95, however, if it detects that the first character of
   any file or directory is ASCII 229, it will tell you that the file
   does not exist, even though this is not true.

   I tested out McAfee's latest ViruScan 95, and it could not access
   infected files in directories starting with ASCII 229. Additionally,
   files starting with ASCII 229 that were infected came up as
   uninfected.

   It is interesting to note that old DOS-based scanners still work.

   Potential RISKS include:

          * Viruses that have specially named data files to prevent detection
          * Viruses that store a copy of themselves in a protected directory
                    and infect from there.

   NOTE that this appears to be a problem with Windows 95, not the virus
   scanners.  Specifically, the built-in file querying routines. I can't
   think
   of any workable solutions to the problem offhand.

  Errol a listarol meg egyik kedvenc falfirkam jut eszembe:

    "Egyel tehenszart! Tizbillio legy nem tevedhet..."

  Nem artana a minosegi ismerveket is figyelembe venni a mennyisegiek mellett
 (bocsesz, most jovok statisztika vizsgarol :-)  ). Ez is (MS) ugyanugy az
 amerikai "prolet-ar" resze mint a Coca-Cola es enyhen szolva rohejesek a
 "korszakalkoto" es hasonlo nyalas kijelentesek. Ugyanaz a "mozdulj ra"
 tipusu hulyites. Es ha nem mozdulok, ugyan mi lesz? (elmarad a ceg bevetele).

Ajanlanam elolvasasra az UNAUTHORIZED WINDOWS-95 c. konyvet, abban vannak aztan
szep dolgok! Ja, es hogy en is mondjak egy gyongyszemet: Felraktuk (nem egyedul
kovettem el a dolgot)a Win-95-ot (nem 2 perc alatt), aztan ra a Visual C++ 
2.akarhanyat(azt, amelyik direkt 32-bites Windows-okra van). Leforditottunk ra

Na, szoval haladok elore ennek a dognek az installalasaval, de 
beleutkoztem valamibe: automatikus IP cim felvetel. Mint az 
kiderult, a DHCP valoszinuleg egy kiegeszites a bootp-hez, s csak 
Windows NT-re, mint DHCP szerverre kaptam tippet, ami ugye picit overkill 
egy egyszeru cimadashoz. Ezert elso kozelitesben felraktam 
egy bootp szervert Netware ala, ami tud dinamikus cimkiosztast 
vegezni, s lass csudat, ahogy a Win95 indul, a program meglatja a 
kerest, valaszol is ra, csak a Win95 nem szedi fel a valaszt. (A log 
file szerint a valasz kimegy!) Valakinek valamilyen tippje? Megint 
benne vagyok a joban?

Ujabb alom: hogy lehet felrakni a 32 bites Netware klienst egy diszk 
nelkuli munkaallomasra, amelyik szerverrol futtatja a Win95-ot? 
Nagyon ugy nezem, hogy a Win95 becsukja a kaput, amikor a kliens 
beirna magat a registrybe.
