You guys have fun there, I am still staying here...
Actually, the decision to go or stay is not that easy, as I
thought... Remember? My first reaction was defiant: I stay. Soon
afterwards, it changed to "concerned", and hence my second
assessment: "I fly back ASAP". After these pendulum swings, now I
feel myself again in the middle, swinging towards a "stay" option
I am just in the process of analyzing all available options and
weighing them to come up with a "best solution" to this challenge.
Indeed, the task is enorm... must take into consideration both short-
and long-term impacts on my decision. Alas, time is not on my side: I
must make up my mind around Tue-Wed coming week.
I will certainly miss that come-together there tomorrow, however,
would I opt for a risky flight heading toward Europe (destination
country hasn't been decided upon yet), our chances for a meeting are
Will keep s.c. "HIX AZSIA" updated about developments on my side...
feel like a responsibility now.
The war is not going well either... wonder when the USA will run out
of fuel of its hatred toward Islam... we are really sliding slowly
but certainly towards a global military conflict. The antagony is on
the rise. It would be time for Mr. Bush to sober up, but... I don't
see that happening. I have a timid guess: I bet Mr. Bush have never
read any stoic materials, I go even further, I even challenge he
knows anything about Zenon, Aurelius or the others... That's sad. The
Roman Empire collapsed with Comodus' murder, and that's a hint now
for us, too... the more violence the US exerts so transparently in
its selfish interest, the deeper they dig themselves in the mud.
That's MY opinion, may or may not differ from that of others...
