Szervusztok, e'rintettek e's e'rdeklo"do"k,

1. A klortartalmu szerves vegyuletek elegetesekor keletkezo klorvegyuletek
   (klorgaz? klordioxid? nemt'om, nem ertek hozza) egyike sem tul egeszseges,
   akarmilyen magas hofokon es legfelesleggel egetunk. A TCB-bol keletkezik
   1 db CO2, 1 db vizmolekula, de a negy klorbol mi lesz? Ezt is tisztazni
   kell. Egyebkent valoszinu, hogy az egestermek joval kevesbe veszelyes,
   mint a TCB, de ha nem beszelnek rola, az gyanakvast kelt.

2. A dorogi hulladekegeto eseteben (amit joreszt a Richternek epitettek)
   tervezesi peremfeltetel volt, hogy az egetomu szennyvizet nem termelhet.
   Hogy, hogy nem -- termel. Persze ezt a szennyvizet igyekeznek megfeleloen
   kezelni (hogy milyen sikerrel, azt nem tudom, de remeljuk a legjobbakat).
   Azt mindenesetre mutatja, hogy egyertelmu eloirasokat is csendben meg lehet
   kerulni (nem hiszem, hogy a dorogi mu szennyviztermelesenek letezese nagy
   nyilvanossagot kapott volna). Nem tudom, hogy a technologia szuksegszeru
   velejaroja a szennyviztermeles (amit a kiiraskor a hozza nem erto hivatal-
   nokok nem vettek figyelembe), vagy csak igy kevesebbe kerult a beruhazas...
   A baj az, hogy ezt agyonhallgatjak, senki nem beszel rola, igy nem derul ki
   a valodi ok, es a kovetelmenyek fu alatti megkerulese terjed, a kozbizalom
   a hulladekegetokben megrendul.

3. Allaspontom: a veszelyes hulladekokat kezelni kell, mert a jelen allapot
   a legrosszabb. A nagykapacitasu egetomuvek szaporodasa viszont azzal a ve-
   szellyel jar, hogy "kornyezetvedelmi beruhazas" alneven a vegyipart arra
   batoritjuk, hogy termeljen csak nyugodtan veszelyes hulladekokat, hiszen
   van egeto kapacitas boven! Ezert ha a magyarorszagi egetomu kapacitasba
   belefer a garei TCB illetve TCB-vel szennyezett talaj(?) artalmatlanitasa,
   akkor a szallitas igenis biztonsagosan megoldhato. Ez persze a Hungaropec
   Rt-nek nem jo, hisz ugrik az uzlet, de globalisan talan elonyosebb. Meger-
   tem a Hungaropec Rt-t, hogy kezzel labbal harcol az uzletert, hisz "nem
   adhat mast, mi lenyege", egy profitorientalt gazdalkodo szervezet nem val-
   lalhatja fel a tarsadalom ill. a kornyezet erdekeinek hosszu tavu, globalis
   erdekeit sajat haszna karara. Nem is a Hungaropec Rt feladata ez, hanem...

P.S: Par eve beszelgettem egy ipari hulladeklerako egyik szakmai vezetojevel,
     aki tobb ev tapasztalataval allitotta, hogy a veszelyes hulladekok keze-
     leseben meglehetosen jol szervezett maffia mukodik. Ezt persze csak ugy

BANNED RUSSIAN REPORT AVAILABLE ON THE WEB.

The Bellona report "The Russian Northern Fleet - Sources of Radioactive
contamination" was banned in Russia following the St. Petersburg customs
confiscation and maculation of 1505 copies on Oct. 18.

The Bellona report on the Russian Northern Fleet is the first book to be
prohibited in Russia since the fall of the Soviet Union. The prohibition
constitutes the most severe setback to the freedom of speech in the new
Russia to date. In addition, this decision violates the Russian
constitution, which states that everybody is free to publish literature
which does not sympathise with nazism. 

The constitution emphasises in particular, that it is not legal to keep
information on environmental conditions secret. The Bellona report is based
on open sources in its entirety, describing the problems concerning nuclear
wastes and submarines in the northern Russian region. 

This report is the foundation of the spy and treason charges against jailed
Bellona co-worker Alexandr Nikitin. Nikitin is in custody in St. Petersburg
since Feb. 6 this year. Nikitin is co-author of the report.

Full Norwegian and English versions of the report are already available on
the web. As of today, Russian versions are available also in both KOI-8 and
windows character encodings:
